The comic book on the life of Secretary Baker goes through many important periods of history and helps students understand different historical events, why they occurred, and how we can learn from them. In addition, the book speaks a lot about American foreign policy and the role of the United States in the world.
This section, in particular, provides an unbiased perspective of both the Israeli and Palestinian viewpoints during the conflict- focusing on how Secretary Baker works to bring together delegates from Israel, Palestine, Syria, and Jordan for the Madrid Peace Conference in 1991.
